I’ve started to wonder if wearing the same underwear every day might actually reduce the mental load of getting dressed.

For a lot of women, the hardest part of getting ready isn’t the outfit.

It’s the small calculations that happen underneath it.

Will this show lines?
Will this dig in at the hips?
Will this fabric cling?
Will I spend the whole day adjusting this?

Suddenly getting dressed isn’t one decision.

It’s ten.

And when you’re already carrying the mental load of work, life, kids, schedules and everything else… even small decisions can feel heavy.

So sometimes the easiest solution is routine.

Wear the same things.
Remove the variables.
Reduce the thinking.

Which might explain why so many outfits we love stay hanging in the wardrobe.

Not because we don’t like them.

But because they require too much mental energy to figure out.
